Clutter or Work. Not both!

Just a quick before/after comparison of my work area as of when I got up this morning.

Deskafter_1Deskbefore Which would you find more conducive to being able to effortlessly move from Next Action to Next Action? Me too.

The Lesson: five minutes of cleanup/prep time at the end of the day will prevent 5 hours of flailing pain, doubt and confusion. Spend the 5 minutes.

While it only took five minutes, dealing with about 6 next actions in between the shot took most of the morning...

From the amount of daylight through the window, I have to dispute your claim that it only took five minutes. :-P

"Which would you find more conducive to being able to effortlessly move from Next Action to Next Action?"

I presume you mean the first one. If I have to go delving in a drawer for every action, it creates far to much resistance to actually doing anything, so I go surfing instead.

The difference between things done right and things done bad is just 5 minutes...
